Inspection Rights

By Tim Nichols

In plain English

Rights to examine specified company books, records, or information under statute or governing documents. In a Texas LLC, the requesting person's status, stated purpose, scope, and required procedures can matter. Inspection rights provide access to information; they do not necessarily give the requester authority to manage the business.
