Member Expulsion

By Tim Nichols

In plain English

The involuntary ending of a person's status as an LLC member under an authorized mechanism. In Texas, the default prohibition and any modifications in the company agreement require close attention. Removing someone from employment or management does not, by itself, eliminate ownership or create a right to confiscate their interest.
