Member Withdrawal

By Tim Nichols

In plain English

An LLC member's departure from membership under applicable law and the company agreement. It is different from quitting a job or ceasing daily work. A member may lack a unilateral withdrawal right, and withdrawal does not automatically require the company or other owners to purchase the interest.
